Sustainability is important for Airlig, which is a strong argument to choose our bedding mattress instead of replacing the whole bed! We aim to shorten freight as much as possible and are to be able to say that Airlig is both designed and manufactured in Sweden.
All textiles are OEKO-TEX® certifierad. The air core consists of TPU and flame tested according to UL-HB. When burnt no poisonous gases are emitted.
Regarding the polyether fiber our supplier is using the Airlay-technology, the degree of usability is then increased by 100 % and the technology certainly promotes sustainability. Today, 80% of the production consist of recyclable fiber or natural fiber.
The importance of weight is important for us not only because our mattress is easier to handle it will also cost less to transport from a sustainability argument. Another argument is also that our mattress is made up of less raw material than comparable mattresses (– it is just to compare the weight.)
